From next season there will be two Vollerings in the WorldTour: Bodine, the younger sister of world and European champion Demi, has signed a three-year contract with EF Education-Oatly.
The 24-year-old Dutch rider, who will turn 25 next July, is therefore leaving VolkerWessels, with whom she has raced for two seasons, achieving several top-10 finishes and making a name for herself with attacking performances, such as the one that saw her stand out at the Milano-Sanremo Women, to move up in category and begin a new adventure with the American team under general manager Esra Tromp.
«When I spoke with Esra, I was impressed by her vision for the team, the objectives the team sets for itself, and the group of athletes chosen to try to achieve them. The team has a long-term project that fascinated me. I think EF Education-Oatly is truly a very nice environment» commented Bodine Vollering.
Tromp emphasized his belief in the potential of the young Dutch rider: «Bodine has the athletic qualities and the right instinct to emerge. She knows our sport well, but so far she has never been able to dedicate herself fully to training and racing. Our team can provide her with the right support; let's see where she can go».
It is not the first time that EF Education-Oatly has opened its doors to a sibling in the sport. In 2026 the American team had Axelle Dubau-Prévot in its ranks, sister of Pauline, who gained experience in road racing until achieving tenth place at Liège–Bastogne–Liège, won by Demi Vollering.
