There are those like Armofer who know how to demolish and rebuild. Those like Luca Colombo who have a sense of family, and for him this is a true homecoming. Then there's the new Drali, which has something ancient, but also incredibly modern and futuristic, perhaps never seen before, that knows how to aggregate and is somewhat family and home. Well, the new Pedale Casalese Casano Armofer Drali is all of this, a mix of passions and stories, that in 2026 will split in two to carry forward a project that sounds ambitious, but also socially promoting, for an Italian cycling that loses petals but also knows how to plant.
Two teams for a great season, to lend a hand to the Us Casano of Ortonovo, which is also the driving force behind the most important junior stage race in the world and which next year will cross the 50-edition milestone. Two interregional affiliations, one in Liguria (Casano Pedale Casalese Armofer Drali), the other in Lombardy (Pedale Casalese Casano Armofer Drali). Three entities are the architects of this project: Stefano Cinerari of Armofer, Luca Colombo who has returned to his family, and Robert Carrara for Drali Cycles.
"For me personally, it's a great emotion," explains Luca Colombo to tuttobiciweb. I arrived in Casano as a simple young boy who nurtured aspirations of becoming a rider and realized this dream. I am deeply attached to this society and the entire Casano community, made up of wonderful people who gave me affection during my 5 years with this society. I arrived as a boy and returned as a man. Giving my contribution as a team manager/director with Stefano (Cinerari, ed.) and the Pedale Casalese, which is my sporting home, gives me immense happiness."
2026 will be revealed soon, but one thing we can certainly anticipate: for the 50th edition of Lunigiana, the Casano Pedale Casalese Armofer Drali will be at the start. A nice way to celebrate.
