The road is mapped out: France, Italy, Spain, Rwanda, and then Italy again. Tadej Pogacar's program for the upcoming weeks is clear and obviously includes the Tour, followed by the Vuelta, which will start in Italy with 4 stages in Piedmont, then the World Championship in Rwanda and finally closing the season in Italy.
This was confirmed by Mauro Gianetti, CEO and Team Principal of UAE Emirates XRG, in an interview with Velo: "Tadej's program includes the Vuelta, although obviously a final decision will be made only after the Tour de France. For now, things are going well, the team is proving to be strong and motivated around its leader, but we know the road to Paris is still very long".
Gianetti did not go into details, but Pogacar has confirmed from the beginning of the year his intention to aim for a second world title in Rwanda and has never hidden his great love for Il Lombardia, of which he has won the last four editions. It is therefore logical to think that this might be his program for the end of the season.
