There's very little time left before the 23rd edition of Castelli24h, the 24-hour team cycling event scheduled in Feltre (BL) on June 6 and 7. The city is preparing for a great cycling celebration that will see numerous cycling champions and more at the start of the marathon.

Among the most anticipated announced participations is the Liquigas Team, an authentic Reunion of the historic Italian team led by Roberto Amadio, which wrote important pages of international cycling and will also direct the team racing inside the "infernal" ring of the 24-hour event around the city's historic walls. A 1,850m course that offers cyclists an uphill, downhill, technical curves, a fast straight, and concludes with a cobblestone section.

The first relay rider of the Ex-Liquigas Team will be three-time world champion Peter Sagan, with Vincenzo NIBALI, Alan MARANGONI, Daniel OSS (gravel vice-world champion), Simone PONZI, Valerio AGNOLI, Franco PELLIZZOTTI (now DS at Bahrain but won the mountain classification and most combative rider at the Tour with Liquigas), Fabio SABATINI, his brother Juraj SAGAN, Dario MARIUZZO, Mauro DA DALTO, Tiziano DALL'ANTONIA, Stefano AGOSTINI, Alberto CURTOLO, possibly Ivan SANTAROMITA, Moreno MOSER, and Dario CATALDO taking turns during the 24 hours.

Liquigas Team was one of the strongest Italian teams in recent years, active from 2005 to 2014. In its ten years of activity, it won 2 Giro d'Italia (with Di Luca and Basso), a Vuelta Espana with Nibali, the Tour mountain classification with Pellizzotti, and 3 times the Tour de France points classification with Sagan. It was directed by Amadio, who now collaborates with the Italian Cycling Federation.

The 24-hour event will start at 9:00 PM on Friday, June 6 from the central Via Campogiorgio and will conclude at the same time on Saturday, June 7. At 7:40 PM, the four districts of the Feltre Palio will parade, then the first relay riders of various teams will be called to the starting line and teams of sports champions and entertainment personalities will be presented on stage. The official start at 9 PM with two reconnaissance laps behind the safety car that will launch the official start of the competition. The winner is the team that covers the most laps in 24 hours, but not only that - they will also award the team with the most original jersey, the all-female team with the most laps, the "Generation Z" team (whose total age of members does not exceed 300 years) with the most laps, the bar-sponsored team, the fastest non-Veneto team. And the male and female athletes who have covered the most laps.
