SADDLES | 21/01/2025 | 08:06 The training camp of the Sc Padovani Polo Cherry Bank is in full swing on the roads of Calpe (Spain). The white-green team athletes have completed the first week of work in preparation for the seasonal debut set for January 24th, in Valencia, with the Classica Camp de Movedre, a UCI 1.2 race included in the Europe Tour calendar. The team is carrying out important training sessions in groups and individually under the coordination of DS Franco Lampugnani and Dmitri Konychev, and over the weekend they also received a visit from Team Manager Alessandro Petacchi who went cycling with the athletes together with President Galdino Peruzzo and vice presidents Martino Scarso and Alberto Ongarato. The riders have also started to become familiar with all technical materials, including the fundamental component of Prologo saddles. "I know Prologo because I used their products when I was a professional," declared Team Manager Alessandro Petacchi - "it's a reference brand with which there is a bond of mutual esteem and trust. I'm happy that they chose to be part of this project, supporting the team and meeting all the athletes' needs". The white-green formation, for the 2025 season, will have Prologo saddles and handlebars representing 2 fundamental contact points between athlete and bicycle to optimize performance and guarantee maximum comfort. The most used saddle models will be those from the Dimension, Scratch M5, and Nago R4 families; for the handlebars, the Onetouch Gel model has been chosen, which is currently the main choice for teams and athletes, allowing a soft and secure grip in every usage condition.
