Just two weeks remain until the Giro d'Italia departs from Bulgaria and there are still many unanswered questions surrounding the pink race. Starting with the jerseys and the sponsors that support them. So far only one has been announced - and moreover it is by now a historic confirmation - the blue jersey signed by Banca Mediolanum: a story that began 24 years ago and is destined to continue in the future following the announcement of a three-year agreement reached in early March.
No doubt about the white jersey since Conad signed a three-year agreement at the end of 2024 and will therefore be the title sponsor for this and the next edition of the race.
And the other jerseys? Above all, what about the pink jersey? In recent weeks a "double" solution has gained traction: the pink jersey will indeed have an institutional sponsor on the chest and a second sponsor on the sleeves. Which sponsors? Here's the answer: the institutional sponsor should be the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, a territory that has always been closely linked to cycling, always playing a leading role in decisive stages thanks to the commitment of Enzo Cainero and his team. Not only a tribute and remembrance of the 50 years since the terrible 1976 earthquake, but an even more authoritative and constant presence, a... pink presence.
For the sleeves, on the other hand, the name Altograno is being mentioned, a new category of flour products developed by Molino Casillo, a product that stands out for its high nutritional profile, obtained by recovering wheat germ, and boasts up to 50% more protein and 40% more fiber, plus fewer carbohydrates compared to traditional flours.
The cyclamen jersey, on the other hand, will be able to count on an institutional sponsor like ITA - Italian Trade Agency: this is the Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies, an agency that supports the internationalization processes of Italian companies and the image of Italian products in the world.
