The cameras will not turn off so quickly in the world of cycling, and next week in Andorra, a truly unique challenge will be celebrated, which will also become a documentary.
Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard, Primoz Roglic and Isaac Del Toro will compete on Sunday, October 19th in the Andorra Cycling Masters, a cycling endeavor that will be transformed into a documentary.
The magnificent 4, as they have been defined by the organizers, will compete in an 8.23-kilometer time trial and a 32-kilometer road race. These are not the longest or most challenging distances of their careers, but when only four are racing, things can change and a short distance can turn into a field of fire and flames.
Missing from this list is Remco Evenepoel, who certainly has no less potential than the 4 invited riders, but the organizers wanted to focus on grand tour riders. With Pogacar, Vingegaard, and Roglic, we have grand tour winners, while Isaac Del Toro has not yet won, but has certainly shown his full value.
"Four champions against each other. No team, no excuses. An unprecedented confrontation". This is the slogan proclaimed by the Andorra Cycling Masters organizers, although Pogacar and Del Toro are actually from the same team... This is a cycling endeavor that will not be broadcast on television, but will be aired later as a documentary.
"A demanding hill climb on the Coll de la Gallina and an exciting route through Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany will decide who is the true mountain dominator".
It will be a true battle, and while the spectacle cannot be appreciated live for now, fans are waiting to see who will be the winner and carefully follow the documentary.
