35 days before the official start, scheduled for September 4th, the 49th Lunigiana Tour has been unveiled, which will start for the first time in its history from Genoa and conclude, after five stages spread over four days, in Terre di Luni. The estate located in Ameglia was the venue for the official presentation that followed the first institutional event held two weeks ago in the Press Room of the Chamber of Deputies.
Many guests attended the event: representatives of institutions, sponsors, friends of the race, and stage committees. Among them were Stefano Garzelli and Alessandro Petacchi, who will accompany Ivan Cecchini's voice in narrating the race days.
During the ceremony, the fourth edition of the women's race was also announced, which will be presented in detail in the coming days.

Challenging stage with five Mountain Grand Prix. Three passages on the final climb, where the finish will be located. Historic climbs like Ortonovo and Montemarcello will be tackled.
09/06 - STAGE 3A, EQUI TERME-MARINA DI MASSA, 54.4 KM

The only stage suitable for fast wheels, without altitude difficulties. Last year, the seafront awarded the Belgian Aldo Taillieu.
09/06 - STAGE 3B, PONTREMOLI-FIVIZZANO, 52.1 KM
![]() |
Stage entirely in the historic Lunigiana, between two symbolic locations of the territory. A now "classic" finish, suitable for strong climbers with a quick sprint. The last three winners - Lenny Martinez, Paul Magnier, and Jarno Widar - are now protagonists of the world panorama.
09/07 - STAGE 4, LA SPEZIA-TERRE DI LUNI, 100.7 KM
![]() |
Starting from the "Picco" stadium with a very challenging route. After a first passage at the finish line, the Fosdinovo climb will be tackled from the Castelnovo-Vallecchia side, the Cima Coppi of the Lunigiana Tour and home of the Graziano Battistini Trophy: it will be the toughest climb of the 2025 edition.
