A precise goal: to return to racing after the accident that slowed down her young career. Alice Toniolli is not thinking about the past and the terrible crash she was involved in during the Circuito dell'Assunta in Cenda di Vittorio Veneto in August 2024, but has set an important target. "I want to come back, I want to return to racing and I'm putting my heart and soul into making it happen" she told TV33 colleagues.
Alice, who in the two years spent in the Junior category won two European titles in Mixed Relay, participated in the World Championships in Wollongong 2022 and Stirling 2023, and wore the national jersey in the time trial specialty, stated: "I've started from scratch, I'm fighting hard and I hope to have some satisfactions."
The girl from Mezzocorona is determined to reach her goal but, as she proudly emphasizes, she also has big dreams: "Every day I tell my mom what I dream of, I started with the white jersey of the Giro d'Italia but I also have a particular passion for Paris-Roubaix."
Among Alice's dreams are also the five Olympic rings, clear and vivid: "The last dream is also the biggest one, to reach the Olympic Games". Go Alice, we're waiting for you!
