Anna Trevisi has decided, at the end of the 2025 season she will get off the bike, leaving the highest category of women's cycling and starting a new chapter of her life. The 32-year-old athlete from the Liv AlUla Jayco team herself announced this through Social Media.
It was 2012 when the athlete from Reggio Emilia started pedaling among the "greats" wearing the Vaiano jersey, then moving to Estado de México-Faren Kuota, Inpa Sottoli Bianchi Giusfredi, followed by a long stay with Alé Cipollini, then moving to UAE Team ADQ and in the last two seasons to the Australian team.
Fourteen seasons during which - Anna writes in her post - "I've had wonderful experiences and met people who gave me so much and 'shaped' me... I've had beautiful moments and others less so, but one thing is certain: cycling will always be an important part of my life!"
Trevisi continues writing, "I would like to thank my family, the people who were close to me in difficult moments and supported me... in always believing! Thanks to Brent Copeland and the greenedgecycling family for these last years together, there are truly fantastic people in this team! And thanks to Alessia Piccolo for hosting me in ALE' for 8 years!" And to close, a farewell: "Bye bye peloton!"
Numerous messages in response to Anna. "May you have a super life off the bike, Trev. Thanks for being one of my trusted teammates," writes Marta Bastianelli; "Thanks for your dedication and great work in recent years. Good luck for the bright future ahead of you," comments Liv AlUla Jayco General Manager Brent Copeland.
Wishes to which we also associate ourselves at the tuttoBICI and tuttobiciweb editorial staff.
