Professional cycling is entering the final phase of the season and the transfer market is heating up with a flurry of announcements. The first moves we're reporting involve SD Worx Protime: the Dutch team has officially announced the signing of Cédrine Kerbaol for two years, thus confirming the rumors from Brittany  reported by tuttobiciweb a couple of weeks ago.

The native of Brest, whom we'll see at the Canadian Worlds starting Sunday, will therefore close her experience at EF Education-Oatly at the end of the season. In two seasons with the team, she has won the French national time trial title in 2025 and the La Coruña stage at this year's Vuelta Femenina.

Erwin Jansen, team manager of the Dutch squad, commented on the arrival of the 25-year-old French rider: "Cédrine joins Anna Van der Breggen, Nienke Vienke and Valentina Cavallar. We have deliberately invested in climbers and so we can count on four strong athletes who will be able to compete in major stage races and of course also in one-day races".

The one who will leave SD Worx Protime after five years is  Blanka Vas. The Hungarian, so far winner of a dozen road races in her career, including the Sassari stage at the 2023 Giro d'Italia and the Amnéville stage at the 2024 Tour de France Femmes, will start her new adventure at Lidl-Trek from October. She will immediately tackle the 2026-2027 cyclocross season and then remain with the German team until the end of 2028.

"We are delighted to welcome Blanka to Lidl-Trek. I have followed her closely over the past few years and have always believed in the level she can reach. At Lidl-Trek, our ambition is not only to bring together the best talents on the team, but to create an environment where cyclists can grow," said the women's team manager Frank Schleck. He then added: "Blanka has already demonstrated her quality both on the road and in cyclocross, and we are particularly excited that she will soon wear the Lidl-Trek jersey for the upcoming cross season. She represents exactly the type of ambitious and multidisciplinary cyclist around whom we want to build our future".

The Movistar management has also decided to make a bet on the future: from next year in the Spanish team we will find the very young Slovak Sofia Ungerová. Coming from the Polish Continental team MAT Atom Deweloper Wrocław, the 2006-born athlete won the final stage of the Gracia Orlovà, ahead of her teammate Urszula Sipko and Jasmin Liechti, who would then win the general classification. Movistar has signed Sofia Ungerová to an agreement until the end of the 2029 season.

Cofidis has instead offered a two-year contract to Clémence Latimier, a 23-year-old French rider currently racing with Ma Petite Entreprise. Thirteenth in the final standings of the Tour de Suisse Women, the Auvergne cyclist has also distinguished herself at the Alpes Gresivaudan Classic where she finished second, beaten by Talia Appleton of Liv AlUla Jayco, and also at the more recent Faun Tour Femmes which she completed eighth in the general classification.
