11: A NEW BOUQUET
Winner in a sprint after completing the final kilometer through the streets of Voiron at an average speed of 50.7 km/h, Jasper Philipsen has won a Tour de France stage for the eleventh time in his career. The Alpecin – Premier Tech sprinter, who opened his account at Carcassonne in 2022, has reached André Greipel, Louison Bobet and Raffaele Di Paco, who are in 25th place in the ranking of the most prolific riders of the Grande Boucle. Philipsen also took the opportunity to overtake his compatriot Wout van Aert (10 victories) and thus become the fifth Belgian with the most bouquets in the race. He is thus moving closer to Jean Aerts (12), Philippe Thys (13) and Freddy Maertens (15), but remains far from the "Cannibal" Eddy Merckx (34 victories).

5: SUBSCRIBED TO SUCCESS
Thanks to his victory in Voiron, a city where he finished second on the fourth day of the 2025 Vuelta, Jasper Philipsen has achieved his fifth consecutive Tour de France with at least one stage victory every year. After his two victories at Carcassonne and Paris in 2022, Philipsen then raised his arms four times in 2023, three times in 2024 and then in the first stage in Lille last year, also wearing the yellow jersey for a day. Only Tadej Pogacar has done better, as the Slovenian has won at least two stages every year since 2020.

6: ALPECIN "JULY WITH ALL MY LOVE"
July has been a success. Thanks to Wednesday's victories by Jasper Philipsen and a few days earlier by Mathieu Van der Poel, Alpecin – Premier Tech, present at the Tour de France since 2021, has achieved the feat of winning at least two stages in each of its six participations, bringing the total victories to 16. The streak began during the second stage of the 2021 edition, when Mathieu Van der Poel triumphed atop the Mûr-de-Bretagne, followed the next day by Tim Merlier in Pontivy. Since then, victories have followed, particularly thanks to Jasper Philipsen, the sole winner for his team in 2022 (2 times), 2023 (3 times) and 2024 (3 times). Last year, "MVDP", Philipsen and Kaden Groves continued the tradition.

7: A WIDE OPEN BATTLE
With only 7 points between the points classification leader Mads Pedersen (452 points) and second-placed Jasper Philipsen (445) just four days from Paris, the battle for the green jersey promises to be intense. Since Barcelona, the two protagonists have battled blow for blow. If the Dane has taken advantage of intermediate sprints to increase his lead over the Belgian (283 points scored against 220), Philipsen has reversed the situation at the final sprints (225 points against 169). For example, Pedersen, who has scored points in all subsequent stages – Philipsen failed to do so on the third day – was able to exploit his resilience in the mountains on only two occasions to score many points with the green jersey. This happened during the stage to Foix, which he won, and heading to Ussel (76 and 40 points against 20 and 16 points). But from the thirteenth stage onwards, the trend has reversed, with Philipsen collecting more points each day than his main rival.

6: BELGIUM RHYMES WITH PROLIFIC
Belgium is experiencing a prolific 2026 edition, with six bouquets won from the Grand Départ in Barcelona. A score, for now identical to last year, which the "Flat Country" owes to Tim Merlier's hat-trick (stages 7, 8 and 12), Remco Evenepoel's double (stages 15 and 16) and Jasper Philipsen's victory yesterday. This is the thirty-ninth time in its history that Belgium has won so many stages at the Tour. A seventh victory this year would be an event that the country has not experienced since 1984.

3: BELGIUM, CONSECUTIVE WINNERS
In the last three stages, the Tour de France has become Belgian property. Because with Remco Evenepoel's two victories on the Solaison Plateau and then in Thonon-les-Bains (stages 15 and 16) and Jasper Philipsen's victory in Voiron (stage 17), Belgium has just signed an unusual hat-trick with two different riders. You have to go back to 2021 to find a similar performance by a country: that year, Tadej Pogacar (stages 17 and 18) and Matej Mohoric (stage 19) managed to do it for Slovenia. The last hat-trick of this kind for Belgium came in 1981, thanks to two consecutive victories by Daniel Willems (stage 11), Freddy Maertens (stage 12a), Eddy Planckaert (stage 12b) and Freddy Maertens (thirteenth stage), once again.

5: KOOIJ MAKES AN IMPRESSION
Third in Voiron, Olav Kooij has stepped on the podium of a stage for the fifth time since the start of this Tour de France, and this for his first participation! First winner on the fifth day in Pau, the Dutch sprinter Decathlon CMA CGM finished second in the eleventh and twelfth stages in Nevers and Chalon-sur-Saône, and third in Bergerac during the eighth stage. Only yellow jersey wearer Tadej Pogacar does better with 7 podiums (four victories and three second places).

3: DANISH FIGHTER
Mads Pedersen, particularly active throughout the stage before taking the lead in the final towards Voiron, received the award for combativeness of the day for the third time in his career. The green jersey wearer was awarded at the end of the thirteenth stage of the 2022 Tour (victory in Saint-Étienne) and after the 17th stage in 2024. Pedersen is one point behind Irishman Ben Healy (4 awards) and Richard Carapaz, who holds the record among participants in this Tour with 5 combativeness awards.
