25: POGACAR AGAIN AND AGAIN
Winner at Markstein after dominating his rivals at an average speed of 23.9 km/h on the Col du Haag, Tadej Pogacar has won the 25th stage of his Tour de France career. The Slovenian, who maintained his crown in the Vosges locality already conquered in 2023, equals Frenchman André Leducq in number of victories on the Grande Boucle, becoming the fourth most prolific rider in the event's history. Pogacar is now three wins behind Bernard Hinault (28 victories), nine behind Eddy Merckx and ten behind Mark Cavendish, who holds the record with 35 victories.

9: FORMIDABLE EFFICIENCY
By winning at Markstein, Tadej Pogacar has secured his fourth stage victory of this edition. The two-time world champion thus becomes the ninth rider in history to raise his arms at least four times across at least three editions. The Slovenian joins Jacques Anquetil, Nicolas Frantz, Bernard Hinault, Marcel Kittel, René Le Grèves and André Leducq (3 different Tours). Only Eddy Merckx (5 Tours) and Mark Cavendish (6 Tours) have done better. Tadej Pogacar is also the first non-sprinter to win four times in the first fourteen stages of a Grand Tour since... Eddy Merckx achieved it in 1974.

11: POGACAR SHINES IN YELLOW
Already a winner this year at Lioran while wearing the yellow jersey, Tadej Pogacar has won the eleventh stage of his career with the prestigious jersey on his shoulders. The UAE Team Emirates-XRG champion thus surpasses Bernard Hinault (10 victories in yellow), but remains at a good distance from the "Cannibal" Eddy Merckx (25).

2012: UAE DOUBLES THE DOUBLE
Thanks to Tadej Pogacar, winner at Markstein, and Isaac Del Toro, second, UAE Team Emirates-XRG has achieved a second one-two finish at this Tour de France, after these two protagonists concluded the second stage in Barcelona in reverse order. The Emirati team thus becomes the first team after Sky to achieve such a performance. In 2012, the pairing of Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome dominated two individual time trials in the same order, at Besançon and Chartres.

1: THE YOUNGEST TO WEAR A DISTINCTIVE JERSEY
Third at Markstein after an impressive climb of the Col du Haag at an average speed of 23.6 km/h, Paul Seixas becomes the first rider under 20 years old to finish on a stage podium twice since 1931. The Frenchman from Decathlon CMA CGM joins Italian Fabio Battesini, winner at Brest and third at Bordeaux that year. And thanks to his performance, the Frenchman has claimed the white jersey as the best young rider. But above all, he is the youngest rider in Tour de France history to wear a distinctive jersey, whether yellow, green, polka dot or white. To find trace of a younger cyclist who achieved a performance of this caliber at the Grande Boucle, you must go back to 1931 and... Fabio Battesini, once again, remains the only rider to have won a stage at a younger age (19 years, 4 months and 13 days) compared to Seixas today.

1986: A VERY YOUNG PODIUM
With an average age of 23 years and 161 days, Tadej Pogacar (1st), Isaac Del Toro (2nd) and Paul Seixas (3rd) formed the youngest Tour stage podium since 1986. That year, at Blagnac, Niki Ruttiman won ahead of Christophe Lavainne and Twan Poels, who together averaged 23 years and 57 days. The record since the end of World War II is still held by the Nîmes podium in 1953 with the trio Bernard Quennehen-Alfred Tonello-Jean Le Guily, averaging 23 years and 3 days.

50: A COLLECTIVE EFFORT UNTIL PARIS?
Thanks to Juan Ayuso (5th), Mattias Skjelmose (8th) and Carlos Verona (25th), Lidl-Trek dominates the Tour team classification for the 50th time in its history. The German team, which holds a 7'26'' advantage over UAE Team Emirates-XRG, took the lead in this classification at the end of the fourth stage at Foix. A fact that could give them hope for the rest of the Tour, given that in 2024 and 2025 Visma – Lease a Bike and UAE also took the lead in the team classification on the fourth day, before winning this award in Paris. In the 21st century, only Sky has achieved better performances. In 2017, the British team dominated this classification from the first to the last stage.

5: CARAPAZ CONTINUES TO BELIEVE
Once again on the attack for 128 kilometers, and at an average speed of 38.3 km/h in the Vosges passes, Richard Carapaz won Saturday his 5th combativity award of his Tour de France career. The Ecuadorian won this award for the first time in the sixteenth stage in 2020. Since then, the EF Education – EasyPost climber has repeated it in stages 15 and 19 of the 2024 edition – the year he was named "Super Combative" – and then in the tenth stage of this year. Among the riders entered in this Tour de France, he has reached the combativity podium more times than anyone else, surpassing his teammate Ben Healy (4).
