Today's program features a predominantly flat stage connecting the Tyrrhenian and Ionian coasts of Calabria. After passing through Pizzo, riders will climb the short categorized climb of Marcellinara, the only elevation of the day, to reach Catanzaro Lido. The final kilometers are truly smooth along the coast towards Crotone, with a finish suited – as mentioned – to the fast wheels.
