Cosimo Cito from Repubblica has kept his eyes peeled and happily stumbled upon (not at the sprint, good for his colleague) a certain Abdoujaparov, full of admiration for whoever emulated him at the finish line in Sofia. Speaking of which, the newspapers of the Rcs group - we saw the frank success of participation - have activated the people counter, estimating as many as 250 thousand spectators gathered in the Bulgarian capital for the Giro. Wait a moment, however: on Il Giornale the alarm about Milan's performance is contained in the headline and opening of Pier Augusto Stagi, who writes of a pedaling that "is no longer light and obsessive as it was a year ago, but heavy, hard and cumbersome". Appointment in Naples and who knows if Jonny will take flight again. In France, meanwhile, they are enjoying the Magnier phenomenon, whose second victory at the Giro deserves to be recalled with a front-page photo, plus an internal headline that would please Abdoujaparov. A football weekend that bodes poorly for cycling enthusiasts who read La Stampa. Better days will come.

MAGNIER'S ARROW
PAUL BY THE BOOK, OVERTAKES MILAN AND GIVES HIMSELF THE DOUBLE
Mom Sabine and dad Laurent told how little Paul Magnier "was hyperactive, it seemed like he never wanted to sleep". It was sport that helped him concentrate, to channel his energy in the best way. Handball, tennis, skiing, mountain biking, professional road cycling. It makes you smile to think about it now that Paul is no longer so little – young yes, 22 blessed years – and is becoming a great sprinter thanks to the Giro d'Italia. Yesterday in Sofia the French rider from Soudal-Quick Step, already winner on Friday in Burgas and first wearer of the pink jersey of the 109th edition, also took the prestigious sprint in Sofia in front of 250 thousand spectators. GIRO, MILAN LEFT WITHOUT SUPPORT MAGNIER TRICKS HIM AGAIN
The Giro d'Italia crossed Bulgaria far and wide for three stages, thirteen hours and ten minutes. But the last ten minutes, those that took place in the late afternoon yesterday, will remain long in the hearts of the two hundred thousand who invaded the capital, a crowd that in these parts is not seen even for national holidays. Adam Yates could not greet it, he withdrew due to the consequences of Saturday's crash. In those final ten kilometers, flying at around 60 kilometers per hour, it was as if someone had compressed all the essence and all the epic that cycling can offer. (Marco Bonarrigo)

MAGNIER, THE SECOND TIME
MILAN BEATEN AND POLEMICAL "THERE WERE BETTER ROADS"
Not even the support of Abdoujaparov helped. "Who wins? Jonathan Milan". It didn't happen that way. The great Abdou, one of only five riders to have won the points classifications of the three grand tours, unique in history to have achieved the ciclamino-green double at the Giro and Tour (1994), lives on Lake Garda, still raises carrier pigeons and in Sofia wore a beautiful pink jersey. Uzbek, called the terror of Tashkent, greatly feared by Cipollini for his always wide elbows, "but no, but no, and then our sprints we did without a train. not like those of today". (Cosimo Cito)
IL GIORNALE
MILAN TRIES AGAIN BUT HIS WINGS BEAT AGAINST MAGNIER'S DOUBLE
His pedaling is no longer light and obsessive as it was a year ago, but heavy, hard and cumbersome. Jonny Milan doesn't fly, he barely rests on the handlebars, after the finish line slipped away, exhausted by a sprint that didn't free his wings. Nothing to do, it will be for next time, it will be for the next finish line in Naples, where jet-men are likely expected for the third round. Yesterday Jonny was knocked out. He didn't break free from his chains, he only gave the impression of soaring into the sky when he attacked 300 meters at double speed, but if the acceleration was swift, so was the illusion of a victory that is once again postponed. (Pier Augusto Stagi)

THE NEW TSAR
At the feet of the statue of Tsar Liberator, erected in 1903 in honor of Alexander II, a new reign perhaps took shape yesterday in Sofia. Two days after conquering the Bourgas stage, the rider from Isère imposed himself as the new prince of the sprint. In his room, the sprinter from Soudal Quick Step will be able to frame the finish photo of this third stage of the Giro d'Italia.

CICCONE: PINK DREAMS
More and more Paul Magnier. The French rider from Soudal-Quick-Step won the Plovdiv-Sofia, the third and final Bulgarian stage of the Giro d'Italia. At the finish line in the capital of Bulgaria the Friuli grenadier Jonathan Milan is second, however he should not blush. At this stage of the pink race, Milan's challenge against a 22-year-old Martian capable of coming back by using a very long gear even on the cobblestones. (Alessandro Brambilla)

MILAN TRICKED
Breathtaking photo finish three-way for the Sofia finish line, but in the end Magnier always wins. In the hectic sprint of the third and final stage in Bulgarian territory, the French superstar already winner of the first Burgas stage achieves the double by coming back and tricking by half a wheel with a perfect burst of power an unleashed Jonathan Milan.
