Following her crash in the Milano – Sanremo Women, just like Debora Silvestri, the physical condition of Polish national champion Kasia Niewiadoma is also improving. The CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto athlete released a statement published on the team's social media channels which reads: «Every day that passes I feel better and better. The situation is certainly not ideal, I have abrasions all over my body. But considering what happened and how I fell, I was fortunate not to have suffered further damage».

The 31-year-old, winner of the Tour de France Femmes 2024, also explains that she is currently in Andorra and continues: «I am slowly and carefully resuming my training. I want to fully recover before resuming my preparation».

On paper, Kasia should be at the start of the Amstel Gold Race on April 19th, but the conditional is a must.
