Bad news for UAE Emirates XRG: involved in a crash today on the roads of Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne, Belgian champion Tim Wellens has suffered a fractured right collarbone.

Dr. Adrian Rotunno, medical director of the Emirati team, explains: "Tim will undergo surgery this evening before beginning his recovery period at home under the supervision of the team's medical staff".
