30 years of Mapei Sport: a journey through the research center's sporting experiences between past, present and future. This is the title of the upcoming conference of the Mapei Sport Research Center in Olgiate Olona (Varese), which this year celebrates 30 years of activity with a day full of qualified speakers and champions from various disciplines.
The appointment to mark on your calendar is for Saturday, March 28 at an important venue like the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan which will host major figures from the world of sports and motor sciences. In the program, in addition to the Squinzi family, prominent names stand out including internationally renowned researchers, trainers and managers with proven experience such as Giovanni Carnevali (U.S. Sassuolo Calcio) and Luca Guercilena (Lidl-Trek), athletes from yesterday and today linked to the Mapei world.
Taking the stage to share their experiences will be cycling legends such as Paolo Bettini and Andrea Tafi, Sassuolo Calcio captain Domenico Berardi alongside the Neroverdi manager and world champion Fabio Grosso, the architect of the club's historic promotion to Serie A and European qualification Eusebio di Francesco, the number one in athletics Nadia Battocletti, the ocean navigator Ambrogio Beccaria, the rally driver fresh from the Dakar Rachele Somaschini.
Founded in 1996 by the will of Giorgio Squinzi and Aldo Sassi to support the athletes of the professional cycling team with scientific rationality and a correct ethical approach, Mapei Sport today represents an excellence in sports medicine and preparation and carries forward the values embodied in Mapei's motto Never stop pedaling.
