The Cross of Christmas Eve returns, celebrating its twenty-ninth edition, renewing the appointment with a day of cycling and celebration in memory of Giovanni Bartesaghi. The event, organized by Giò's many friends and SMO Sport Management Organization, will take place on Wednesday, December 24th at Villa Campello Park in Albiate (entrance from Via Gatti).

Protagonists will be athletes from the Giovanissimi "G6", Beginners, Juniors, and Amateur categories.

One of this year's novelties concerns the Masters: the event will be open to Italian Cycling Federation members and all sports promotion organizations; for Italian Sports Center members, it will serve as the Lombardy Regional Championship. Amateur category participants can register via email at iscrizioni@tagracero.com or directly at the race meeting point starting at 8:00 AM.

For "G6", Beginners, Juniors categories, registrations are open on the Fattore K computer system with race ID 178638, with gathering from 9:00 AM.

"The Cross of Christmas Eve has been a tradition for years, a sporting event and a moment to meet, exchange Christmas wishes. It's a day when we want to remember a great friend like Giovanni and also Lucio Cantù, a great bike lover and for many years a race judge. The amateur and "G6" races will be dedicated to Lucio," the organizers comment.
