A truly special celebration - also because it was the one that celebrated the thirty years of tuttoBICI - took place in Milan for the TuttoBICI Awards ceremony, the prize that each year is awarded to the best athlete in every competitive category, from Beginners to Professionals.

Since 1995, the award established by the monthly magazine tuttoBICI and tuttobiciweb.it has brought to the spotlight great champions alongside young cycling talents, telling their stories with the common thread of great passion for bicycles.

The Awards Night honored the Beginners Nicole Bracco, Alessandro Bellettini, and Carlo Ceccarello, the Cadets Anna Bonassi and Andrea Alessiani, the Juniors Chantal Pegolo and Roberto Capello, the Elite Lorenzo Cataldo, the Under 23 Lorenzo Mark Finn (world champion in the category), while Elisa Longo Borghini for the eighth time in her career (absolute record, surpassing Luperini and Bronzini) was the best Italian cyclist. Jonathan Milan confirmed himself as the best young rider of the season, while the title of best professional went to his teammate Giulio Ciccone.

On the awards stage was also Marco Villa, who was chosen by tuttobiciweb readers as the best Italian coach of the season. During the evening that brought together riders from past and present, entrepreneurs and sponsors, technicians and managers, a special award was given to Antonio Colombo, a visionary and eclectic industrialist who has written pages of bicycle history.

The Lucia and Pietro Rodella prize was presented to Alessandro Sallusti, director of Il Giornale, intended for a media representative who loves cycling and actively promotes it.

Two other recognitions went to Mattia Cattaneo, awarded as the best "team player", and to Honorable Roberto Pella, president of the Professional Cycling League, who received the Rodella Grand Prix as "personality of the year".

The evening's guest of honor was CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio: "I have had a fortunate and emotion-filled life, and this evening is a great emotion for me. I have just completed my first semester as President of the Italian Olympic Committee, I come from canoeing and used to do canoeing, I know well the taste of effort. And I know that cycling is a sport that tells the story of Italy, a story of values and courage, because it takes courage to do what you do on a bicycle".

Then President Buonfiglio added: "We are committed to doing our part. Italy is among the nine best nations in the world for results and is the second in the world for organizations. To you journalists, to you at tuttoBICI who today reach the thirty-year milestone, I ask to make these Italian primacies known, to talk about sports, to talk about the excellence of our movement. Happy celebration!"
