
The UAE Team Emirates – XRG and Spanish cyclist Juan Ayuso have mutually agreed to the early termination of his contract, originally set to run until 2028.
Ayuso will remain on the roster until the end of 2025 and then conclude his adventure with UAE: a decision taken following divergences in development plans and alignment with the team's sporting philosophy.

So far the official joint statement from both parties who will now have to "coexist" in a Vuelta where Ayuso should be a valuable support piece for Almeida, although the conditional - when it comes to the Catalan rider - is always mandatory.
Meanwhile, rumors about Ayuso's future are intertwining, with several teams interested in signing him: all teams looking for a leader for grand tours are watching the Spaniard, with Lidl Trek certainly in pole position. But they are not the only ones...
