Just over two weeks remain until the closing of "A Region on Bicycle. Cycling in Friuli Venezia Giulia in the Bulfon Collection", the exhibition set up in the Exhibition Hall of Villa Manin (from May 24 to September 14) with the support of ERPAC and the collaboration of the Mortegliano Photographic Circle.
Already many visitors have been fascinated by over 200 pieces including original RAI videos, photographs, paintings, jerseys, and historic bicycles. A unique journey that tells the cycling passion of our region: from the mythical feats on Zoncolan to the protagonists who marked cycling history, from Bottecchia to Jonathan Milan, passing through Friulian champions of yesterday and today.
The exhibition will close on Sunday, September 14 with a special event at 5:30 PM in the meeting room on the second floor, above the Exhibition Hall: "A vae mi - O voi jo - I'm Going", an emotional-theatrical-musical narrative dedicated to Ottavio Bottecchia, an undisputed myth of 20th-century cycling. Dino Persello, accompanied by pianist Teo Luca Rossi and tenor Andrea Binetti, will lead the audience on a poetic and intense journey through the champion's life, with words, music, and images.
