The Tudor Pro Cycling Team prepares for its fourth season in the professional group with great ambition and important news. The Swiss team today announces the signing of Swiss rider Stefan Küng, versatile Italian Luca Mozzato, and young Swiss rider Robin Donzé, who grew up in their development program.
The trio joins the team at a crucial moment, with the squad aiming for a stronger presence in time trials, classics, and one-day races, while continuing to invest in its development philosophy.
Stefan Küng: A Homecoming with Purpose
The main signing is undoubtedly Stefan Küng, one of the most established Swiss riders. The multiple national champion and European time trial gold medalist brings a WorldTour pedigree and a strong results-driven approach. «As a Swiss rider, I have closely followed the Tudor project and was genuinely impressed by its mentality and development - said Stefan, who signed a three-year contract -. Innovation, research, and development are clearly central to the team, and I believe this environment can push me to reach a higher level, especially in time trials».
The thirty-year-old aims to achieve the best results in time trials at the European and World Championships, as well as a long-awaited breakthrough in Monument Classics. «There's still a major Classic missing from my palmares, and it's a goal I truly want to achieve».
Luca Mozzato Brings Speed and Grit
Joining Küng is Luca Mozzato, an Italian known for his speed, consistency, and aggressive style in one-day races. The twenty-seven-year-old from Veneto is a reliable rider in challenging finishes and sees Tudor Pro Cycling as the ideal platform to reach new heights. «I like how the Team has grown, not just in structure, but also in racing style - said Luca, who signed until the end of 2028 -. This seems like the great opportunity of my career to become the best possible rider. I want to win, but I also want to be a fundamental part of the team's success»With his turn of speed and tactical ability, Luca should play a key role in the Classics campaign and stage finishes, bringing experience and depth to the one-day racing team.
Robin Donzé, From Development to Professionalism
Completing the trio is Robin Donzé, a 22-year-old Swiss climber from the Tudor Development Team. Currently competing in the Tour de l'Avenir with the Swiss national team, Robin has already had a taste of professional racing, including the Tour of the Alps earlier this year. «Being part of the Devo Team was an extraordinary experience, but turning professional is a childhood dream come true. I've learned a lot, raced the best U23 races, and now I'm ready for the next challenge and can't wait for the next two years».Robin aims to become a reliable teammate in hilly and high mountain stages, with a long-term goal of earning a spot in a Grand Tour.
«We are excited to strengthen our roster with additional power and depth, and proud to welcome another Devo rider to the professionals - said Fabian Cancellara -. It's a testament to the exceptional work our Development Team continues to do in research, training, and nurturing young talents. Robin has been part of our program since 2022, and we are confident he will be a valuable resource to support our climbers starting next season. With these new signings, we are strengthening our roster and refining our identity. The mix of proven experience, all-round versatility, and internal development is in line with the team's mission: to be a performance-oriented team that also cultivates talent».
