The Gazzaniga-Onore race for juniors, which this year celebrated its 38th edition, was unusually resolved by a compact group sprint. Marco Gregori, a sixteen-year-old from Caorso representing Pool Cantù VC Sovico GB Junior, won the hectic final sprint, beating Luca Ferrari from UC Osio Soto and Nicolò Scamperle from Team Petrucci.
This marks the fourth victory this season for Gregori, born in 2009, who is also the Emilia regional champion and recently participated in the national track championships in Florence, where he won a bronze medal in the team pursuit.
