Jonathan Milan agrees to comment on the first stage of the Tour de France that did not go as he and Lidl Trek expected. "There was so much stress throughout the entire day. I'm really sorry about how things turned out because a gap opened up when we least expected it. We thought we could close it, but those in front were pushing hard and we couldn't get back. I'm disappointed because it was a huge opportunity, and we all believed in it. It's clear that morale is what it is now, but we have the chance to try again in the third stage."
