Alé, the renowned Italian manufacturer of technical cycling apparel, proudly announces the renewal of its partnership with the Lloyds Tour of Britain for the 2025 edition. The company will once again be the official supplier of leader jerseys for both female and male competitions, confirming its commitment to supporting professional cycling at the highest levels.
The collaboration begins with the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women, scheduled from June 5th to 8th, an integral part of the UCI Women's WorldTour. The athletes will tackle a route of over 423 kilometers divided into four stages, starting from Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire and concluding in Glasgow, marking the first time the race arrives in Scotland. A total of 19 teams will participate in the event, the highest number in the competition's history, including the CERATIZIT Pro Cycling Team and a selection of athletes from British Cycling, who will race in Alé-branded clothing.
The official Tour of Britain jerseys, created by Alé, are part of the PR-R collection, designed for professional cyclists. These garments stand out for their lightness, breathability, and ergonomic cuts, combined with innovative textile technologies.
The four leader jerseys are:
Green for the general classification
Blue for the best climber
Red for the best sprinter
White for the best young rider
The Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men will take place from September 2nd to 7th, 2025, with Alé again being the protagonist in supplying the official jerseys.
Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the company behind Alé, stated: "We are excited to renew our collaboration with the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain. This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to promoting cycling at all levels, particularly women's cycling, which we consider fundamental. Supporting women's cycling is not just a value-driven choice, but a concrete lever for innovation. Female athletes push us to develop increasingly technical, high-performance garments truly designed for the female body. We firmly believe that visibility and support for women's competitions are crucial for the evolution of the entire cycling movement."
Darren Henry, Commercial Director of British Cycling, commented: "We are thrilled to welcome Alé as our partner for the Lloyds Tour of Britain and to unveil the new, beautiful jersey designs as we approach the summer edition of the race in June. These partnerships highlight the continued growth and development of the event, which are fundamental to the success of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women. We are confident that this year's jersey designs will be greatly appreciated by both the athletes competing and the thousands of fans along the roads in June and September."
This collaboration once again underscores the importance of the British market for Alé. In fact, from January 2025, the Verona-based company is also the official clothing supplier for British Cycling. All British national cycling teams, across all disciplines, wear Alé garments both in training and competition.
