After the success achieved in the 2024 season by the Road Safety Education project aimed at school-age children, wanted by Luca Londoni and his work group, despite the change of flag during the winter season, the project "Know the Bicycle" returns in a renewed version and with a new name with the support of the Italian Sports Center, a Sports Promotion Entity recognized by CONI, already present with its structures within summer CRE in the Oratory context.

Numerous collaborations have already been initiated that in the coming weeks will see technicians available to operate in territorial events focused on the correct use of bicycles, and in terms of road education for younger generations.

The first event scheduled for the new "Know the Bicycle" project will be "EDU-BICI Vanzaghello" created by the Municipal Administration led by Mayor Dr. Arconte Gatti and Education Councilor Doris Giugliano, who presented the event scheduled for Monday, May 5th as follows:

"Regarding the 'Road Safety' project, included in the Right to Education Plan for the current school year, we request the participation of the State Kindergarten and the first, second, and third grades of S. Francesco Primary School. The project, scheduled for Monday, May 5th from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, this year will see the participation, in addition to our Local Police, of the Italian Sports Center and the educational activity site 'Amatori Lombardia'.

The theoretical part will be held in the Council Hall and the practical part in Pertini Square, where a mini-village on road safety will be set up, tailored for children.

Road safety education allows the acquisition of knowledge and awareness that make the student complete and ready to face the street environment and society as a whole.

Moving safely, on foot, by bicycle, respecting the environment and using public transport represent the general objectives of the reference framework, within which to define paths where road safety education is valued in its educational and training potential and thus contributes to the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes of 'Active Citizenship'."
