The 2025 Solme Olmo team was presented at the elegant Relais Ca' del Poggio: the Treviso-based team, chaired by Gian Pietro Forcolin, arrives at the start of the new season with a roster of 18 athletes that is definitely well-assorted and determined.

MANY ARROWS, ONE TEAM - The Solme Olmo, expected to be a protagonist on the most prestigious stages of the new competitive season, is a team renewed compared to 2024, with 14 new additions. To the confirmed Alan Flocco, Matteo Tugnolo, Lorenzo Unfer and Marco De Rossi, five debut Under 23 athletes have been added, including European and World Junior Track Champion Christian Fantini, Armin Caselli, Lorenzo Marangoni, Riccardo Uderzo and Hungarian Gergo Grosz.

The group of fast wheels called to repeat the exploits signed by Simone Buda in 2024 is definitely substantial: keep an eye on the newcomers Lorenzo Anniballi and Matteo De Monte who boast an absolutely respectable pedigree collected in youth categories. Spotlight then on the combative Giovanni Gazzola, Alessandro Mario Dante and Carlo Francesco Favretto and on endurance riders like Nicolò Birello, Tommaso Colombo, Tommaso Tabotta and the experienced Colombian Lukas Blanco.

"The 2025 lineup is composed of a mix of athletes suitable for every type of route" - declared president Gian Pietro Forcolin - "the goal this year is to maintain the 2024 level, although, without wanting to commit too much, we might even do better. During the winter months, the team has worked very well, also thanks to the synergy created with the Puglia Regional Committee of the Italian Cycling Federation, which allowed us to conduct a productive training camp on Apulian roads".

AUTHORITIES AND PERSONALITIES - Local authorities applauded the athletes' parade, with the mayor of San Biagio di Callalta Valentina Pillon, accompanied by sports councilor Nicola Polo. Present for the Veneto Committee of the Italian Cycling Federation was the newly elected president Mario Guerretta: "Here we have an example of cycling, Gian Pietro Forcolin has been running this reality for 16 years. They have accustomed us to important results and I am sure that this year too they will bring home great satisfaction". For the Treviso Provincial Committee, councilors Moreno Zonta and Alex Damian were present.

Among the team's supporters, the sponsors reconfirmed their pride in carrying forward a project of this caliber. Present in the room were Savino Mariotto and Paolo Giurati, Solme's patrons, who expressed their enthusiasm for continuing this partnership: "We are very satisfied to continue supporting the project and we expect great results; we want to congratulate these guys for their commitment and attachment to the jersey they have shown. As Trevigiani, our dream is to see Solme Olmo jerseys with raised arms at the finish line of the Popolarissima".

Among the personalities present were also Riccardo Bigolin from Selle Italia, Domenico Boglione owner of NEB18, Silvano Piccini from Piccin company, organizers Renato Barzi, Adriano Zambon and Rino Baron, former professionals Biagio Conte and Rudy Pevenage.

The team's debut is expected for Saturday, February 22nd with the usual outings at the Coppa San Geo in Salò (Bs) and the Firenze-Empoli; the following day will be the turn of the circuits in Misano Adriatico (Rn) and La Torre di Fucecchio (Fi).
