Il cronoprologo di Losanna ha aperto oggi la settantacinquesima edizione del Tour de Romandie. Vincitore della prova contro le lancette è stato Ethan Hayter, 23enne londinese della INEOS Grenadiers, che ha completato i 5 chilometri di gara in 5'52" alla media di 52,946 km/h. Al secondo posto è giunto l' australiano Rohan Dennis (Jumbo Visma) distante 4", mente l'austriaco Felix Großschartner della BORA - hansgrohe ha concluso al terzo posto con un ritardo di 10" dal vincitore. Miglior italiano Matteo Sobrero (BikeExchange) che si è classificato sesto, facendo registrare il tempo di  6'05".

Il talentino britannico ha indossato anche la maglia di capo-classifica con la quale partirà domani nella tappa che porterà il gruppo da La Grande Béroche a Romont  per complessivi 178 chilometri
