CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto has officially signed Erja Bianchi to their development team, an 18-year-old from Lombardy, Lonate Pozzolo.
After defending the colors of Ju Green from Gorla Minore, Erja moved from Allievi to the Biesse - Carrera team and competed with the Brescia-based squad during her two Junior seasons. In 2025, she raised her arms in victory four times, stood on the podium thirteen additional times, and finished the season ranking second in the tuttoBICI Mapei Grand Prix won by Chantal Pegolo.
In her sporting curriculum, Erja can also boast the double Italian title in the team time trial conquered alongside her Biesse - Carrera teammates and prestigious results wearing the Italian national track jersey: this year she won silver medals in the team pursuit at both the European and World Championships.
"I am super excited to become part of this team. This was probably the most important goal of the season, and I am very happy to have achieved it. I can't wait to start this new adventure. In my first season in this new category, I want to grow and learn as much as possible. I am ready to give everything for the team," Bianchi said commenting on her move to the German squad.
Among the ranks of CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto Generation, Bianchi will also find biker Valentina Corvi, who joined the development team in May this year. In addition to officially signing Erja Bianchi, the team has also announced the arrival of Weronika Wąsaty, a 19-year-old Polish rider who in recent seasons has also worn the jersey of Canturino.
