GIRO DEL COLORADO. Il prologo a Patrick Gretsch

Il 24 enne tedesco Patrick Gretsch (HTC-Highroad) si aggiudica il cronoprologo del Giro del Colorado sulle strade di Colorado Springs (8,3 km). Per il tedesco si tratta del terzo successo stagionale. Il tedesco, protaginista di una prova maiuscola, ha preceduto Christian Vandevelde di 2" e Brent Bookwalter di 4". Buona prova per Levy Leipheimer che chiude la sua fatica facendo registrare il settimo tempo a 8" dal vincitore. Buona, buonissima la prova del trionfatore del Tour Cadel Evans che a dispetto di chi diceva che qui in Colorado ci sarebbe venuto solo ad onor di firma, ha chiuso con il nono tempo, anche lui a 8" dal primo. Migliore degli italiani Daniel Oss che ha chiuso con il 32° tempo, a 26" da Gretsch.
