For road cyclists, it's time for vacation and... love. Over the past few days on social media, we've seen the ring that Luca Mozzato gave to his girlfriend Giorgia during a trip to Japan and, also in the Land of the Rising Sun, came the proposal from biker Luca Braidot to Alice Maria Arzuffi, who recently announced her retirement from competition after years spent between road cycling and cyclocross.

Ahead of the big day for the Italian riders, the cycling community celebrates the wedding of Pauline Ferrand Prevot and Dylan van Baarle which took place last Friday. The French champion of Visma Lease a Bike and the Dutch rider from Soudal Quick Step exchanged their wedding vows in front of friends and family.

«This is the most beautiful day of my life» wrote the Olympic XCO champion from Paris 2024 and winner of the Tour de France Femmes 2025, posting an image in which her nieces hand her and Dylan the wedding rings. «Everyone is happy when the menu includes cheese soufflé, bitterballen and frikandellen» she then added jokingly.
