Two sons of famous cyclists and a "cycling" surname composed the podium of the FCI e-sports Italian championship that took place yesterday at the Montichiari velodrome. The protagonists of the event - which awarded the "Francesco Cesarini – Dream Ahead" Prize, desired by Francesca Cesarini, daughter of Francesco, to pay homage to the figure of an athlete who, with his humility, loyalty and capacity for sacrifice, embodied the fundamental values of sport. His reputation as a team player, the pride of representing Italy at every level and the path always walked alongside Italy's great captains, make him a perfect symbol of inspiration - for junior and second-year youth riders. The challenge took place on the Montreal World Championship course, which participants tackled on Elite rollers.

The Italian title was conquered by Luciano Gaggioli, son of former professional Roberto. In second place Davide Pinotti, himself the son of former professional Marco, and in third Federico Cattaneo, penalized by a mechanical failure.
