Following the immediate transfer of Jakobsen to Visma Lease a Bike and the already confirmed departures of Bittner and van Uden, Nils Eekhoff would also be preparing to pack his bags and leave Team Picnic PostNL. Having grown up as a cyclist within the ranks of the "orange" formation, the 1998-born rider would be set to wear the jersey of Decathlon CMA CGM.

If the rumors circulating between the Netherlands and France were to be confirmed, Eekhoff would become a teammate of Kooij and Bol from January 2027, thus increasing the number of Dutch riders in the roster of the French-based team, further strengthening a squad that, in light of recent announcements, appears to have a clear growth strategy for its structure.

According to reports from colleagues at Wielerflits, Alpecin-Premier Tech would also have shown interest in the rider, but France appears to be in Nils' future.
