Adidas strengthens its presence in professional cycling with a new and important partnership. The German sportswear giant will be the official partner for off-bike clothing of the Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech teams, launching a multi-year collaboration that will involve two of the most competitive formations in the international cycling landscape.

The announcement was officially unveiled today by Adidas and Wielerteam Ciclismo Mundial BV, the company that manages the two teams, marking a new chapter in the long history of the three-stripe brand in the world of cycling. Starting from the second half of the 2026 season, riders and technical staff members of the two squads will wear a personalized selection of Adidas's main collections dedicated to sportswear and leisure clothing.

The partnership covers exclusively the period away from competitions: hoodies, tracksuits, footwear, training apparel, casual clothing and accessories will accompany athletes during transfers, journeys and official commitments.

The new line has been designed to combine comfort, functionality and modern style, with a relaxed silhouette, materials studied for athlete recovery and exclusive details such as embroidered team graphics. The heart of the collection will be represented by the ZNE look, designed to strengthen the team's sense of belonging and unite sport and lifestyle.

Great satisfaction has been expressed by the general manager of the two teams, Philip Roodhooft, who sees in the collaboration much more than a simple sponsorship. «We at Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech believe that the strongest partnerships are built on shared ambitions. Adidas is one of the most iconic sports brands in the world, with a tradition of innovation and excellence that speaks for itself. We are proud to welcome Adidas as a partner and excited to become part of the Adidas family. Together we look forward to building a long-term partnership that will help our athletes maximize their potential every day».

Words that confirm the team's desire to continue growing beyond the purely competitive aspect, enhancing the image of a squad now firmly established at the top of world cycling.

Adidas also looks with enthusiasm at the new collaboration. Kerryn Foster, General Manager Specialist Sport of the German company, highlighted how the choice of the two teams is linked not only to results, but also to the value of their athletes.

«We are excited to collaborate with the cycling teams Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech and proud to see the brand represented by two teams that are gaining increasing confidence in the international circuit, thanks also to their world-class cyclists such as Mathieu van der Poel, Jasper Philipsen, Charlotte Kool and Puck Pieterse. The three-stripe brand boasts a long tradition in cycling, which we look forward to consolidating both now, through this partnership, and in the future».

The agreement will therefore allow some of the most well-known riders in the international cycling scene to represent Adidas during all off-race activities.

For Adidas, this is not an absolute debut in the world of two wheels. The Herzogenaurach brand can indeed boast a long tradition in professional cycling, which began back in the 1960s, when it started supplying clothing and accessories to some of the most important riders and teams of the era.

This new partnership therefore represents a return to a sector in which the German company intends to strengthen its presence once again, partnering with two teams that are protagonists in both the men's and women's WorldTour.

Based in Herzogenaurach, Germany, Adidas is today one of the world leaders in the sports articles sector. The company employs approximately 65,000 employees worldwide and in 2025 recorded a turnover of 24.8 billion euros, figures that testify to the global weight of the brand.

The agreement with Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech represents a further strategic investment in cycling, a discipline that in recent years has acquired growing international relevance from both a commercial and image perspective.

For the two teams, meanwhile, the arrival of a partner of Adidas's caliber constitutes a further recognition of the work carried out, confirming their role among the most solid and ambitious realities in the world cycling landscape.
