Another withdrawal at the Tour de France: today Ramses Debruyne will not take the start. The twenty-three-year-old Belgian from Alpecin-Premier Tech suffered from a sore throat and fever during the night. It is precisely the fever that prevents him from continuing the race.

The young talent leaves the Tour after a debut that showed great promise, with excellent stage performances and a position among the top 20 in the general classification until today.

The team was very satisfied with the young Belgian and was convinced that in the third week he would be able to showcase his qualities.
