On July 4th, Richard Carapaz, Ben Healy, Kasper Asgreen, Michael Valgren, Alex Baudin, Sean Quinn, Max Walker and Georg Steinhauser will launch from the starting ramp of the Barcelona team time trial, racing through the city streets to kick off the 2026 Tour de France.

Richard Carapaz has returned to his best level and is ready to soar in the high mountains. The Olympic champion and 2024 polka dot jersey winner comes off a second-place finish at the Tour de Suisse and would like to claim another stage victory at the Tour. Ben Healy had a dream Tour last year, with two days in the yellow jersey and a stage six victory. Ben will tackle this Tour with the same aggressive spirit.

Alex Baudin is in great form in 2026. The Frenchman won the first stage of the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes with a solo breakaway of 28 kilometers and defended the yellow jersey until the final stage. He can't wait to prove his strength in the home Alps.

Max Walker and Georg Steinhauser will make their Tour debut and are confident and enthusiastic about tackling the world's most important race. Max is a reliable teammate with the power to lead the group or break away on any terrain. Georg is a Giro d'Italia stage winner. Earlier this year, he finished third in the general classification at Paris-Nice and won the white jersey for best young rider.

The Danes Kasper Asgreen and Michael Valgren bring strength, experience and the ability to win races. Kasper has already won a Tour de France stage, along with classics such as the Tour of Flanders, the E3 Saxo Bank Classic and the Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne, and a Giro d'Italia stage. He knows how to stay calm in a breakaway, identify the right moment and attack. The same goes for Michael Valgren. Michael has just added a Giro stage victory to his long list of successes and would like to do the same at the Tour.
