After her victories in 2021 and 2023, Demi Vollering completes the treble and takes the win at the 2026 Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes. The captain of FDJ United – SUEZ crossed the finish line with her arms raised and a 1'29" advantage over
The race heated up on the Côte de la Redoute. After catching a small group of breakaway riders, the FDJ United – SUEZ women applied pressure before opening the door for their captain Demi Vollering's attack. Within a few kilometers, the continental champion had distanced the first chase group by around thirty seconds, composed of Puck Pieterse (Fenix-Premier Tech), Kasia Niewiadoma (CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto) and Isabella Holmgren (Lidl – Trek).
Vollering pushed hard again on the Côte des Forges, distancing the larger group by over a minute, led by Visma Lease a Bike's Ferrand-Prévot and EF Education-Oatly's world champion Vallieres.
Approaching the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons, van der Breggen (Team SD Worx – Protime), Paula Blasi (UAE Team ADQ) and Elise Chabbey (FDJ United – SUEZ) attacked from the group: with a relentless pace, the Dutch two-time champion took the initiative personally and closed back onto Niewiadoma and Pieterse.
The SD Worx Protime rider's aggressive push dropped a brave Holmgren but proved insufficient to trouble Vollering, who adds yet another victory to her tally this early season, her third in twenty days.
