Tom Crabbe smiles at the opening stage of the Tour of Turkey. With an optimal burst in the final tens of meters where he managed to find the right gap, the Belgian indeed tamed the sprint that decided the inaugural stage, surpassing Simon Dehairs (Alpecin-Premier Tech) and Davide Persico (MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort).

The victory also guaranteed the Team Flanders Baloise rider the first Turkish jersey as leader of the general classification.
