The fifth and final stage of the race is on paper the most challenging one. After covering the first 70 km which are predominantly flat, riders will face the Monte Stella climb for the first time, approximately 4 km long with gradients close to 10%. After the descent, Gemona del Friuli is crossed for the first time, passing along the finishing avenue, though without crossing the finish line.
A long circuit follows, characterized by some short climbs and passages through inhabited areas. Approximately 21 km from the finish, the Monte Stella climb is tackled again, ideal for attempting a decisive move, considering the short distance to the finish line, before which there will also be the scenic passage through the historic center of Gemona. The final kilometer is flat and the last turn, to the left, is located approximately 800 meters from the finish line.
