The continental team XDS Astana Development Team is engaged in its second training camp ahead of the 2026 season start. The team has completed its roster formation, which this year will include 19 riders: 16 main riders and three specialists from other cycling disciplines. Eight riders represent Kazakhstan, while seven riders are Italian.

The first race of the 2026 season will be the Tour de la Provence in February, while several riders will already compete with the WorldTour team in the first European races in Spain.

"This year we have significantly revised, strengthened, and expanded the roster of our Continental team. Additionally, several new Kazakh riders have joined the team, both road cyclists and specialists from other disciplines. For us, this is an opportunity to evaluate young national riders in European and Asian races, help them gain racing experience, and identify the most suitable reserve for the WorldTour team. For the riders, this is an opportunity to gain experience both in training and racing. For specialists from other disciplines, it's a chance to integrate road races into their preparation process. In four seasons, our continental team has strengthened, gained valuable experience, and achieved numerous concrete results. We observe how the system works, how young riders advance to the WorldTour each year, and therefore we will continue working in the same direction in the new season," said Alexandr Vinokurov, General Manager of the XDS Astana Team.
