As per tradition, this year the Team Nibali gathered for its usual start-of-season meeting. The splendid baroque setting of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site, welcomed the team's athletes and staff from January 2nd to 5th: days dedicated to training and planning for the 2026 season.

Present were seven of the nine young cyclists in the Novice category, with two absent as they were outside the regional territory, who alternated road work sessions with technical tests and exercises inside the Paolo Pilone Velodrome in Noto, a location that has now become a reference point for the team's preparation. A special thanks goes to Luigi Lombardo, who has inherited the legacy of the late Prof. La Rosa, to Prof. Angelo Pistritto and Francesco Buonagrazia for their hospitality.

The week concluded with a moment of great educational value: as every year, at every gathering, a road safety lesson was held in collaboration with the State Police, to whom sincere thanks go for their availability and constant commitment to youth education; speakers were Chief Commissioner Dr. Francesco Giuffrida, head of the Traffic Police section in Syracuse, and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Amsicora Concas, commander of the Noto Traffic Police detachment. One of the most important moments of the entire gathering where knowledge of the highway code is not just a formality but a serious and concrete commitment of the Team.
