It's another great Italian performance in the second round of the Junior Cyclocross World Cup held in Flamanville, Normandy (France). European Champion Filippo Grigolini, from Udine, Friuli, triumphs in a solitary ride after a tough battle with home champion Soren Bruyere Joumard, who finished second with a deficit of 11". Patrik Pezzo Rosola also confirms his position among the best in the UCI international challenge, closing in third place after recovering positions in the final, ahead of the Dutch rider Heeren and Belgian Lejeune.
Third in the first round in Tabor (Cze), Grigolini (Team Cingolani Specialized) obtains his first World Cup victory and provisionally takes second place in the points classification behind Frenchman Bruyere Joumand, who leads the challenge with 70 points compared to the Italian's 65 and Pezzo Rosola's 47 in third position.
