Love Will Come is the reassurance that every single person has heard at least once. Love might not be here yet, but the right book is already here for those waiting for that lightning bolt moment. With a sharp and self-deprecating pen, journalist Giulia De Maio crafts a hilarious, lucid, and irresistibly true journey through the romantic misadventures of the millennial generation dealing with ghosting, human oddities, and romantic dreams colliding with the digital and cynical reality of today.
The book's release date is not coincidental: November 11th, the day dedicated to singles, becomes the perfect opportunity to celebrate the most important love of all - love for oneself. From the end of a seven-year relationship to rebirth, tuttoBICI correspondent from the last two summer Olympic Games builds a sincere and entertaining narrative about getting back in the game, navigating dating apps, surreal speed dates and red flags to avoid. A survival manual for modern relationships, complete with studies, research, advice from psychologists, sexologists, and experts in marriage and divorce, along with an analysis of emerging trends like polyamory and AI-driven infatuations.
Through grotesque episodes, disastrous encounters, and memorable discomforts, this book tells the contemporary love landscape with humor and authenticity where anyone risks becoming someone else's "Giuseppe Calcetto".
A sports journalist by profession, the author brings the same energy she uses to cover bike races: "If dating the wrong men were a sport, I'd be an Olympic champion," she jokes. But behind the comedy lies a powerful message: learning to choose happiness, even when alone.
With author quotes, musical playlists, and direct language, L'amore arriverà is a manifesto of conscious singlehood: as witty as a happy hour with friends, as deep as a sunset confession. Is finding love nowadays an impossible mission? No, but it's a tough journey best approached with a good laugh and a good book.

About the Author
Born in 1989 in a little town between Como and Milan, Giulia De Maio has worked as a sports journalist, specializing in cycling, since 2010.
After fulfilling her dream of being a correspondent at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she publishes her first book on a topic close to her heart: interpersonal relationships.
This editorial work does not cover the life of a champion as those who know her professionally might expect, but her own. A former athlete turned in a strong woman, who helps us navigate the modern dating world with her humor.
L'amore arriverà is her narrative debut, a book born "after three years of battlefield in the world of dating", to laugh, reflect, and - why not - recognize ourselves a bit.
