A significant quality leap for the Young Giussanesi Sports Group that archives a 2025 above expectations. Credit goes especially to Piva and Parianotti who more than others have collected the best results with the juniors team directed by former professional Giampaolo Cheula.
Matteo Piva won the third stage of the Friuli Tour, Emanuele Parianotti impressed with his quality placements in races abroad. Two elements that brought smiles to the Giussanese team presided over by Rocco d'Aprile. Piva, beyond the victory, distinguished himself with second places in Gorla Maggiore, Cologna Veneta, the second stage of the Lake Geneva Tour and the GP Immobilier in Switzerland. Also notable were his fourth place in Carimate, fifth in the overall "Ciociarissima" and sixth in the international Coppa Montes. Next year he will move to the under-23 category with Beltrami TSA Tre Colli.
For his part, Parianotti (first year in the category) shone in France, Germany and Switzerland in the Tour d'Ambert Livradois (2nd in the first stage and 8th overall), at Rund Schonaich (3rd) and Grand Prix Gippingen (6th). Valuable was his third place at Piccolo Lombardia, fourth at "Valli Aretine" and Gorla Maggiore, fifth at Brinzio and Fighille in Umbria, finishing with seventh place in Monfalcone.
"Now we can only wait for next year and give our best," affirms team manager Roberto Brenna. "2025 has given us great satisfaction, and we are proud of what our boys have been able to do, not only in Italian races. Whenever the opportunity arose to race abroad, we seized it to put our athletes in the best conditions to express themselves and gain experience: an important added value for the team's continuous growth"
The objective of Giovani Giussanesi is to be protagonists again, primarily with second-year Parianotti who next year will be joined by young promises Samuele Brustia, Gregorio Acquaviva, Edoardo Ietta and Lorenzo Milani.
