The GP Kranj in Slovenia marks the return to the peloton of Fabio Felline, born in 1990, 1.75m tall, 68kg, a Turin rider who won the points jersey at the 2016 Vuelta a España. After a long period of inactivity, Felline returns to competition with the MBH Bank Ballan CSB Colpack jersey, determined to rediscover his race rhythm.
"Since the concrete idea of returning was born – Felline explains – I have trained like a professional at 110%, aware that I need to compensate for the long break. I followed a very intense program, including three weeks of high-altitude training between Cervinia and Sestriere".
The choice to return in Slovenia is not random: "The GP Kranj is the ideal context to break the ice. I want to test myself and get to know the team better".
About his current form, the Turin rider remains cautious: "I am confident, but I know well that in modern cycling, condition is never enough. The goal is to be competitive from mid-September".
Felline, along with Fausto Masnada, Alessandro Fancellu, and Davide Persico, represents one of the reference points of the team's 2026 project. His return will also be closely followed by Davide Martinelli, today the team's sports director and for years a teammate of Felline.
