After Team Giorgi Brasilia ISI Service, another historic junior team announces it will not be a group in the next season: this is the Aspiratori Otelli Alchem Cwc. As Angiolino Massolini writes in BresciaOggi, the Sarezzo-based company wants to clarify that it will not permanently abandon this competitive category. "We will still be present," says Laura Otelli, "with very young, novice, and cadet riders while waiting to launch another junior team. And we will obviously continue to organize all our races, including the Memorial Remembering Giancarlo. In other words, we are momentarily shifting our attention to the younger ones but ready to return to the category that has given us so many satisfactions."
Another piece of news, which we anticipated in recent days, concerns Ecotek Rovato of Luigi Braghini. In 2025, it will join forces with Petrucci Zero 24, a Marche-based club that includes Tommaso and Filippo Cingolani, Gianmarco Paolinelli, and Edoardo Fiorini among its ranks. After two years of apprenticeship, it is ready to take flight under the supervision of Giuseppe Martinelli, the Italian coach with the most successes in Grand Tours.
To balance the departure of Aspiratori Otelli Alchem Cwc and Team Giorgi Brasilia ISI Service, there will be the entry into the category of Team Guerrini, led by former professional cyclist Stefano Guerrini, who for a couple of seasons has been alongside Paolo Zanesi with a junior team engaged in road and off-road racing. The former rider from Castrezzato, Italian cadet champion and azzurro at the World Championships in Plouay, France, has decided to make the big leap. "I thank Paolo Zanesi for his commitment and the excellent results obtained," says Guerrini, who today is an entrepreneur, "but now I am determined to do well in road races with a strong team. I hope I have made the right choice."
