The individual ranking at the top remains unchanged, with Giulio Ciccone (98 points, Lidl Trek) and Elisa Balsamo (84, Lidl Trek) still in command. Ulissi gains points, now at 48, and Vitillo at 35, rising to 4th and 3rd place respectively in the individual ranking.

Marco Frigo (Israel) and Silvia Milesi (Be Pink Imatra) are currently the best young riders, while VF Group Bardiani CSF Faizan and Be Pink Imatra Bongioanni lead the team rankings. The best climbers are Elisa Longo Borghini and Mattia Bais (Polti Visit Malta). The most combative riders are still Elisa Longo Borghini and Mattia Bais.

The President of the Professional Cycling League, Roberto Pella, was present at the awards ceremony: "For the first time in the history of the Giro dell'Appennino, Genoa hosted a double men's and women's race, in line with the principles guiding our action: giving full equality to cycling, starting with prize money equalization. We witnessed a historic classic of the Italian calendar, won by a champion like Diego Ulissi, from Tuscany, and a young Matilde Vitillo, from Piedmont, organized with skill and passion by US Pontedecimo, led by President Silvano Parodi, and characterized by high organizational and safety standards. Congratulations to the riders for the show. I also want to emphasize the importance of the numerous municipalities crossed, which were enhanced by beautiful television images, once again confirming the strong bond between cycling and territory."

NOW THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The next event valid for the Regions Cup 2025 will be the Italian Championships, from Thursday to Sunday, with time trial and road race events, scheduled respectively in San Vito al Tagliamento, Boario Terme, and between Trieste and Gorizia.
