BIESSE CARRERA PREMAC. THREE PROMOTED FROM YOUTH ACADEMY: GODIZZI, MILESI AND QUADRIGLIA

CONTINENTAL | 05/12/2024 | 08:09
The Biesse Carrera Premac Team bets on its youth academy and announces the promotion of three Junior athletes to the Continental team for the 2024 season, still led by Marco Milesi and Dario Nicoletti.
All born in 2006 and ready for their first year among the Under 23, they will continue their development in the Brescia-based team; these are Andrea Godizzi, Davide Quadriglia and Alessandro Milesi, the latter being the son of team manager Marco.
ANDREA GODIZZI - From Casalmoro and born on January 2, 2006, in the past season he also secured a victory in September in Visano. "I'm extremely happy to be part of the Continental formation of the Biesse Carrera Premac Team. I'm in my third year with this jersey that has seen me grow both physically and mentally. Over the months, I've managed to achieve satisfaction and reach personal goals I set to continuously improve. I'm proud of what I've accomplished, and despite facing my first year in the new category, I want to give my all and keep growing."
DAVIDE QUADRIGLIA - From Dalmine and born on May 23, 2006, in 2024 he achieved three Junior podiums, narrowly missing victory multiple times. "This is also my third year here. During my two years as a Junior, I always saw our Continental formation as a goal to reach. Making this jump with this jersey is a source of pride and motivation. In 2025, I expect to grow and learn as much as possible from my teammates to give my best and perhaps earn some personal satisfaction."
ALESSANDRO MILESI - From Osio Sotto and born on October 3, 2006, in the past season he raised his arms in victory in the second stage of the Junior Giro del Veneto.
"Arriving in the main team of the society where I matured as a Junior is a beautiful emotion and proves it's a valid project. Finding my father as one of the sports directors? I have a great relationship with him, but I believe during race situations I won't even notice, experiencing it as a normal sporting relationship. In 2025, I want to give my maximum and help the team, and if I can also achieve some personal satisfaction, that wouldn't hurt."
THE SPORTS DIRECTORS' OPINION - In the team car, the two sports directors Marco Milesi and Dario Nicoletti, with the former outlining the characteristics of the three young riders, not hiding the emotion of having his son in the team. "Andrea Godizzi is a fast rider who performs well on tough mixed routes, he has grown a lot in these years; he's an interesting profile and we're waiting to see his improvement. Davide Quadriglia, instead, has a great turn of speed and will be our sprinter for the future. Finally, Alessandro Milesi is another fast rider, a pure attacker who likes to go on breakaways, a trait we'll try to exploit. Being both a dad and a sports director will certainly bring emotions in certain moments, but I'll try to do my best in both roles."
The one who saw them mature and contributed to their growth is Renato Galli, sports director of the Junior formation of the Brescia-based society. "For me, it's a source of great pride to have contributed to the promotion of these three guys. I must admit that working with them wasn't difficult because, although very young when they arrived, they were already mentally prepared to grow as cyclists, eager to learn what was being transmitted to them. They are guys with different characteristics but united by great determination. I'm certain that their humility and the great spirit of sacrifice they demonstrated in their two Junior years will allow them to achieve great satisfaction even in the Continental team."
