The facts: the Spresiano municipal council has sanctioned the free transfer by Remo Mosole in favor of the municipality of the land in Lovadina where the velodrome will finally see the light of day. An agreement - as written by La Tribuna di Treviso - that has brought all interested parties into agreement, with Remo Mosole ceding the area free of charge to the municipality, inserting a clause that the intended use not be modified, in return receiving about 800 thousand euros from the cycling federation for the surface right with a duration of 70 years. For its part, the municipality of Spresiano acquires - against an investment of 4 million euros - a gym inside the structure for exclusive use for 50 years, a land of about 76.00 square meters that becomes its property, three weekends a year of exclusive use of the entire facility free of charge and the arrangement of all road infrastructure. As for the Federation, it will also have to bear the management costs for the agreed period. Definitely satisfied is the mayor of Spresiano, Marco Dalla Pietra who explains: "We will have an indoor velodrome, authorized for world and Olympic competitions with state-of-the-art facilities with all that entails, against an investment of 4 million euros that will turn into much higher revenue figures". The history of the velodrome began in 2007, since then the project has been downsized from 6,000 to 3,000 seats, government refinancing of 8 million euros has arrived which, combined with the 27 million initially financed, the 3 million now made available by the region and the 4 million from the Municipality, bringing to a treasury of about 42 million euros. Will it be enough to finally have the second indoor velodrome in our country?
